The extended day program for Hope Academy students and after school program for local K-4th grade students resumes this month! We have a few slots open for K-4th grade students who live in or around Glenwood — if you’re interested, please call the main office.
We also have space for volunteers. As a volunteer tutor for the K-4 program, you would read with students and help them complete their homework. As a volunteer in the 5-8th grade program, you would work with a small group of 2-3 students completing hands-on academic enrichment activities — science experiments, math board games, etc. We have openings Monday-Thursday, 3:30-5:00 pm. Hope Academy students benefit from an amazing 8:1 student-teacher ratio, interactive teaching strategies, and one-on-one tutoring throughout the school day.
Adolescence is the time when students begin to grapple with and better understand their faith. We provide an encouraging and informative environment that allows students to build stronger relationships with Christ.
At Hope Academy, we encourage development not only in academics and spirituality, but also in other areas students are passionate about, including the arts, technology and sports.
